Real Ale lovers have flocked to get first dibs on Friday night tickets for the 2011 Eastbourne Beer Festival with all 1,200 tickets flying out the door in record time!
Eastbourne Beer Festival returns to the Winter Garden this year from 27 - 29 October and with Friday night always proving the most popular selling out before the event, this year’s ticket sales have surpassed all expectations selling quicker than ever before in only two weeks. Those who missed out on Friday night tickets still have chance to book for the Thursday or Saturday evening sessions or for the Saturday day session, with a special 2 for 1 ticket offer on Thursday night. Eastbourne Borough Council Cabinet Member for Tourism, Cllr Neil Stanley said “Eastbourne Beer Festival really is the must go to event judging by the way tickets have already flown out the door! This year Friday night tickets have sold out in the fastest every time and this is testament to what a popular event the Beer Festival has become. The event promises a fantastic selection of real ales, ciders, fine wines and perries and combined with plenty of live music and entertainment, Eastbourne Beer Festival promises a great night out!” The Beer Festival drinks menu contains more than 150 real ales from across the globe; from Legless Rambler made just down the road at Beachy Head Brewery to Brahma Crop and Mac’s Gold. Visitors can also look forward to a packed programme of live entertainment, including bands The Bonanza, Beve and the Beatroots, The Mojo Makers, Morris dancing with Long Man Morris and Hunters Moon Morris and the Ragati String Band. With pub grub on the menu throughout the event plus traditional pub games such as Bar Skittles and Toad in the Hole and a family quiz during the Saturday day time session, there will be plenty to keep festival fans busy this autumn.
