EASTBOURNE HOTEL MAKES TV APPEARANCE! EASTBOURNE HOTEL MAKES TV APPEARANCE! One of Eastbourne�s seafront Victorian hotels comes under the television spotlight this week. The East Beach, formerly known as The Weyanoke, in Royal Parade, was selected to appear on Channel Five�s �Hotel Inspector�. Filming took place back in the spring after the producers were invited down to talk to local hotelier�s members of The Eastbourne Hospitality Association. Owner of the 33 bedroomed �East Beach� is Heidi Cowderoy, who is also Chairman of the EHA. She and her husband Mark bought the Hotel 3 years ago. �The TV programme helped us finance the rebranding of the Hotel by changing its name, painting the outside and setting up a new website. More importantly it also gave us the opportunity to re evaluate our appeal to guests. I would recommend this TV experience to anyone�, says Mrs. Cowderoy. Hotel Inspector is presented by Ruth Watson.
