Chas & Dave Party at Eastbourne Bandstand
This Friday visitors to Eastbourne Bandstand can look forward to a good old-fashioned style sing-along as Phil & Grants Rock n Roll Party brings the iconic landmark to life for a concert inspired by English pop rock duo Chas & Dave and visitors are being offered a last minute chance to grab 2 for 1 tickets.
The audience will be on their feet dancing and singing along this Friday to hits such as Gertcha, Aint No Pleasing You and Rabbit, and visitors can get two tickets for the price of one when they book in advance before Friday.

With the popular Friday tribute concerts packing the arena every week, Bandstand fans have just six tribute nights left to enjoy in the 2010 season and are being encouraged to book their tickets in advance to guarantee they dont miss out.

Eastbourne Borough Council Cabinet Member for Tourism, Cllr Neil Stanley said The 2010 Bandstand concert programme continues to impress visitors and pack the venue out every week. With only six weeks left of concerts to enjoy in 2010, from the smash hit Friday nights through to the spectacular 1812 firework concerts on Wednesdays, Id encourage anyone who hasnt been to a Bandstand concert to get themselves down there one evening and enjoy a fabulous outdoor performance.

Next Friday, the Bandstand kicks off the Bank Holiday weekend with Summer Nights, a tribute concert based on the well-loved movie Grease. Wannabe T-Birds and Pink Ladies will be invited to get on their feet and dance along to well known songs from the film, including Youre The One That I Want and Grease Lightning.

And from music from Hollywood blockbusters to music from Broadway and the West End, there is over a month left to enjoy the Afternoon on Broadway concerts every Saturday. This Saturday The Oxted Band will take to the stage for an afternoon concert.

Rock n Roll returns on Saturday night with Rock Around and Sunday welcomes another double dose of concerts with the Horsham Borough Band playing a Traditional Afternoon Concert and Wealden Brass performing a Proms concert in the evening.

Tickets to all Bandstand concerts are available in advance online from www.eastbournebandstand.co.uk, from the Seafront Office, or by calling 01323 410611. To get the special 2 for 1 ticket offer for this weeks tribute concert, quote 241 when booking.
